✨ About Me ✨
I’m Christopher — the heart behind HVMMINGBYRD.
After surviving a stroke and brain surgery, my life shifted completely. I live with aphasia, prosopagnosia, epilepsy, and autism — experiences that have reshaped how I create, communicate, and move through the world.
HVMMINGBYRD is an extension of that journey — a space rooted in resilience, expression, and awareness for warriors and survivors rewriting their stories.
I’m also the voice behind my podcast, 50 First Dates with Chris HVMMINGBYRD — a raw, poetic space where I document healing, identity, and transformation in real time.
This work is about turning pain into purpose — and proving that even after impact, we still find a way to fly.

✨ Before We Create ✨
Welcome to the HVMMINGBYRD creative space! Before we begin, here’s what helps our collaboration feel meaningful, inspired, and smooth:
-
Health first. My priority is always my well-being — I’m navigating recovery from a stroke, brain surgery, aphasia, epilepsy, and living on the autism spectrum. I share this so we can work together with understanding, care, and respect for boundaries.
-
Team effort. Creating magic happens when we show up fully for each other. I may need a little extra patience or support, and your energy and presence make all the difference.
-
Communication matters. Please leave voice messages — I don’t respond to missed calls without VM because I often don’t know who is calling. Email or coordinated phone calls work best. Detailed, kind emails help me organize my thoughts and respond clearly.
-
Learn the handbook. I invite you to explore my journey, resources, and podcast links. Think of this as the HVMMINGBYRD guide — it helps us work together smoothly and intentionally.
This space is meant to be joyful, inspiring, and meaningful — not stressful. When we respect each other, honor the process, and show up thoughtfully, everything flows naturally.
brighter days are coming 🐦🔥
